Motor Insurance
In Malaysia, all vehicles (motorbikes, cars, vans, trucks, lorries, etc) have to be insured to be allowed on the road in accordance with the Road Transport Act 1987.
Currently you can only purchase Comprehensive Insurance with Extension Covers / Optional Benefits at RHB Insurance Online.

We would advise you to remain the “Recommended Amount” as it is according to market value. Under-insured / over-insured is not advisable.

After payment successful, you will receive an email for JPJ status. Once JPJ status OK, you will receive cover note at your registered email.
Travel Insurance
All Malaysians, Malaysian Permanent Resident, or holder of a valid working permit or dependant pass who depart from Malaysia as a passenger.
You must be between nineteen (19) and eighty (80) years old (both ages inclusive), for insured adults and dependent children between fifteen (15) days and nineteen (19) years old (both ages inclusive), or up to twenty-three (23) years if they are still studying, unmarried and not gainfully employed.
Please key in all the countries that you will be visiting during your trip upon purchase and we will cover all of them within the covered countries. Kindly refer to the covered countries/region listed.
No, your origin country of departure must be from Malaysia.
You are advised to purchase the insurance three (3) days prior to departure (departure date inclusive). Please be informed that for any policy purchase less than 3 days from your travelling date, the policy coverage shall not include the benefit for trip cancellation and travel postponement.
It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year and provides travel assistance when you find yourself in a difficult situation abroad. This may include arranging for medical expenses at a hospital or having a translator to communicate with the doctors or nurses. They will also arrange for medical evacuation back home in the event of a serious medical mishap whilst abroad.

For children who are above 19 years old, they could purchase an individual plan for themselves. For children who are below 19 years old, parents or guardian will need to purchase the insurance plan on their behalf as them being the policyholder and children as insured person.
After payment successful, you will receive a cover note at your registered email.
You may terminate the policy at any time by giving a written notice to the Company within fourteen (14) days or contact our Customer Relationship Centre at 1300 220 007. Such termination shall become effective on the date the notice is received by us the Company or the date specified in the notice, whichever is earlier. No premium will be refunded upon cancellation of cover.
